## Description

ARGO Ostrava is a volunteer diving club and branch association of the Diving Association of Moravia and Silesia, based in Ostrava, Czech Republic. Founded in the early 1980s, it brings together people interested in recreational and technical diving, boating, and spending time in and around the water. The club welcomes new members of all ages, including juniors, and emphasizes safety, experience, and a friendly community.

ARGO organizes training, club gatherings, and diving trips in the Czech Republic and abroad. Past destinations have included Croatia, Italy, and sites in the Czech Republic. At its club building on Gajdošova Street, members can have diving cylinders filled; most other activities take place outdoors by the water. The club also shares event reports and photographs, and provides membership information and club documents for prospective and current members. With a history spanning more than four decades and a current membership of around 60, including 23 juniors, ARGO offers a welcoming base for divers and water-sports enthusiasts to learn, train, and explore together.
