## Description

**ARISS (Amateur Radio on the International Space Station)** is a dynamic program that bridges the gap between students and the wonders of space exploration. By facilitating live amateur radio communications between students and the crew aboard the International Space Station (ISS), ARISS inspires young learners to delve into science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). The initiative provides a unique platform where students can learn about life on the ISS, engage in hands-on educational activities, and explore space technologies through the lens of amateur radio.

Funded in part by the ISS National Laboratory and supported by various international amateur radio societies, ARISS emphasizes the importance of collaboration in advancing space-related education. Partnering with organizations like the American Radio Relay League (ARRL) and NASA, ARISS plays a crucial role in promoting STEM topics while connecting educational communities with the exciting realities of human spaceflight. Through its innovative programs, ARISS fosters a passion for exploration and inspires future generations of scientists and engineers.
