## Description

Arizona Bleeding Disorders (AZBD) is a volunteer-based nonprofit organization serving individuals and families affected by inherited bleeding disorders throughout Arizona. Its mission is to enhance quality of life through caring support, practical education, and advocacy for better medical care and insurance coverage, while advancing the search for a cure. The organization supports community members with conditions including hemophilia and von Willebrand disease, connecting them with information, resources, and opportunities to participate.

AZBD offers family programs, teen and young adult activities, men’s and women’s groups, conferences, and camps, including Camp H.O.N.O.R. for children ages 8 to 17. It also provides new-family support, financial assistance, scholarships, medical and insurance resources, and travel scholarships. Through advocacy initiatives, AZBD brings the bleeding disorders community together to promote positive change. Members receive community news and invitations to programs and events, while volunteers can contribute to the organization’s work. AZBD raises funds through donations, monthly giving, vehicle donations, and community events, helping sustain its programs, services, activities, and research funding.
