# Arizona Working Aussies - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `arizonaworkingaussies.org` ## Description Arizona Working Aussies (AWA) is an Arizona-based nonprofit affiliate club of the Australian Shepherd Club of America, dedicated to preserving the Australian Shepherd’s working ability and promoting skilled, ethical stockdog handling. Based in Queen Creek, the organization hosts ASCA-sanctioned trials for Australian Shepherds and other ASCA-approved herding breeds, welcoming handler-dog teams at all levels. Its events offer challenging courses, quality livestock, and opportunities to compete, learn, and connect with the stockdog community. AWA’s facility includes three arenas, a covered grass spectator area, RV hookups and amenities, meals, and dog-cooling baths. Trial livestock includes Beefmaster cattle, St. Croix sheep, and Khaki Campbell ducks. The club also offers educational programs, including clinics on judging and herding foundations, alongside volunteer, membership, sponsorship, and donation opportunities. Its 2027 calendar features the Sonoran Shuffle, Tequila Two Step, and Hedgehog Hustle. The latter two events make up the 12-trial Copper Crown Series, recognizing top competitors. Through competition, education, sportsmanship, and community, Arizona Working Aussies supports the development of handlers and dogs while celebrating the breed’s intelligence, drive, and herding instincts. ## Industries - 🐶 Pets and Animals - 🐶 Animals _(under Pets and Animals)_ - 🏈 Sports ## Links - [facebook](https://facebook.com/AZWorkingAussies) ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idRdpt2nEF/w/266/h/156/theme/dark/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1792904048741) - icon _(primary)_ — JPEG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idRdpt2nEF/w/1259/h/1259/theme/dark/icon.jpeg?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1792904049203) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Black White | #fffffe | accent | | Pickled Bean | #6a3d26 | dark | | White | #ffffff | light | ## Fonts - Arial — asset _(custom)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
