The Arkansas Rural Water Association (ARWA) is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of Arkansans by serving and training rural and small publicly owned water and wastewater systems. Our mission is to provide high-quality training and technical services to these systems, ensuring that they can deliver quality water at the lowest possible cost. ARWA offers specialized training courses in water and wastewater, covering topics such as treatment, regulations, operations, maintenance, and management skills. Our training is available throughout the state and is either free or offered at a low cost. We also provide certification review courses and continuing education units to maintain operator certification. As the largest utility membership organization in Arkansas, we partner with other non-profit organizations to represent the interests of public water and wastewater systems at both the local and national levels.
