## Description

Armistice Capital is a global hedge fund that specializes in long/short, value-oriented, and event-driven investing. The firm primarily focuses on the health care and consumer sectors, investing predominantly in equities. They have the flexibility to be opportunistic across the capital structure, allowing them to capitalize on unique investment opportunities. Armistice Capital aims to generate uncorrelated returns by selecting concentrated bets that maximize the opportunity set of investment candidates. To mitigate basis and market risks, the firm maintains significant position and portfolio level hedges. Their investment strategy combines the principles of value and event investing, with the goal of producing compelling risk-adjusted returns in all markets. Founded in 2012 by Steven Boyd, Armistice Capital benefits from his extensive experience in the industry. Before starting the firm, Boyd held senior positions in leading investment groups, including Senator Investment Group and York Capital. He received his education from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, with a B.S.
