## Description

Armstrong Arrows is the public-facing name of the Armstrong Amateur Hockey League (AAHL), a community-based youth hockey organization serving the Armstrong area since 1967. The league brings together players, families, coaches, and volunteers, with an emphasis on player development, competition, and community pride. Its programs offer instruction for boys and girls at a range of ages and skill levels.

The Arrows’ offerings include an 8U Mite ADM program, Mini Riverhawks, mixed teams from 10U to 16U, and girls’ 12U and 14U hockey. The organization also provides in-house hockey and National Bound programs, including Armstrong Edge Premier teams. Through Armstrong River Hawks Hockey, eligible local students can play at the middle school, junior varsity, and varsity levels; the River Hawks participate in the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Hockey League. AAHL supports participation with tryouts, coaching and parent resources, team guidance, fundraising, and events such as Try Hockey for Free Day and the Little Pens Program. It also shares registration information and opportunities for prospective players, coaches, and volunteers.
