## Description

Arriba Göppersdorf e.V. is a community sports club founded in 1994 by five runners in Göppersdorf, Germany. From its beginnings as a running club, it has grown into a multidisciplinary endurance-sports community with nearly 200 members, welcoming recreational participants and competitive athletes alike. The club offers running, triathlon and cycling activities, with regular group sessions including runs for adults, children and young people, interval training, swimming and cycling. Members can also compete through the club’s men’s and women’s triathlon league teams, established from 2019 onward, and represent Arriba at regional and wider sporting events. A notable fixture is the Altmühlfrankenlauf relay, while the club’s Pleinfeld Silvesterlauf, launched in 2007, brings runners of different ages and abilities together each New Year’s Eve. Arriba also organizes community events and provides opportunities for members to develop through activities such as running and cycling diagnostics. With a focus on both accessible sport and competition, the club invites people at all experience levels to join its supportive sporting community.
