## Description

Art by REM is the photography and visual art practice of Amsterdam-based artist Remco Spek. His work combines photography with digital image editing, AI and, at times, painting, always using photography as its foundation. Spek applies these tools selectively to create distinctive images that move beyond straightforward depictions of reality, sometimes adding painted words or phrases for a personal layer. Human presence is central to his work, portrayed with qualities such as strength, glamour, sensuality and vulnerability.

The collection includes black-and-white and colour works, with pieces such as Quiet Escape, Rooted, White Crown and Vanishing Point. Art by REM offers limited-edition fine art and giclée prints produced on 10mm acrylic using UV print technology. The prints are signed and numbered, and editions are limited to 25. Customers can explore the portfolio and online shop, or request a custom-designed, signed artwork in a preferred size or commission a bespoke design.
