## Description

Art By Romain is the creative platform of artist Jonathon Romain, whose life and work reflect a determined path into the art world. Romain has spent much of his life as an artist and says his creative journey took shape during a 15-year prison sentence, which began two weeks after he graduated from college. After serving seven years, he was released and quickly set out to build a career in art. The brand presents his work through an online gallery and offers a shop, commission services, and information about his book and speaking engagements.

Art By Romain also supports “Change That Narrative,” a media campaign and social awareness program focused on transforming mindsets and empowering BIPOC youth. The initiative promotes collective and individual responsibility, education, public awareness, and activism, with the goal of fostering prosperous communities and helping reduce drugs, gang involvement, and violent crime. Its art book features works by BIPOC artists, and proceeds from sales support the program’s continuation and expansion.
