## Description

Art Class Curator is an art education resource and professional development platform created by Cindy Ingram. It helps teachers build meaningful connections between students and art, supporting learning that develops emotional intelligence, creativity, and appreciation for diverse artworks from different periods and cultures. Its approach emphasizes looking closely, discussion, interpretation, and personal connections alongside art-making.

The Curated Connections Library offers classroom-ready art appreciation and art history lessons, activities, discussions, and teaching resources. Teachers can use its materials to supplement existing lesson plans or support a more complete art appreciation curriculum. The library also includes professional development training designed to strengthen educators’ skills and confidence.

Art Class Curator provides additional resources through its online shop, blog, and podcast. The site features art observation activities, worksheets, lesson ideas, and guidance on topics such as the elements of art and art criticism. Visitors can also access a free bundle of six art appreciation worksheets, designed for use with almost any artwork, and sign up for an email list featuring art inspiration and a free Artwork of the Week lesson.
