## Description

Artifact is a collaborative ECAD platform for designing complex electrical systems and harnesses. Built for hardware teams working in fields such as automotive, aerospace, robotics, and defense, it brings design, manufacturing, and procurement into a shared, version-controlled workspace. Teams can organize systems into nested design blocks, trace connections across subsystems, and review designs at different levels of detail. The platform supports real-time collaboration, branching, snapshots, release control, and change history, helping preserve design knowledge and clarify ownership.

Users can create and manage parts libraries, import PCB pinouts and components, define schematics, and connect devices through power, ground, and data nets. Artifact also provides electrical and project rule checks to identify design issues before a system is built. It generates and keeps harness drawings, pinout tables, and bills of materials synchronized with the design, and can link with 3D CAD tools. Security options include email-based authentication, GovCloud support, and customer-cloud deployment for organizations with ITAR and CUI compliance needs. Access is available by request, with a trial offered.
