## Description

ArtistsInspire is a grant program that connects professional artists with schools in Quebec’s English-speaking communities to create engaging, hands-on creative experiences for students. It is an ELAN/LEARN partnership funded by the Government of Canada’s Action Plan for Official Languages. Through its grants, the program helps schools plan projects with artists whose skills and interests suit their students and learning goals.

Schools can explore artist profiles, contact ArtistsInspire for recommendations, and apply through an artist’s profile. The program offers grants in several application cycles throughout the year, with specific deadlines for each cycle. Its website provides guidance for schools, including project information, workshop details, application FAQs, and resources for planning and documenting experiences. Artists can find information about eligibility, orientation, connecting with schools, fees and expenses, and teaching approaches.

ArtistsInspire also shares stories and news about its projects, recruits teaching artists, and provides resources on supporting youth mental health through creativity.
