The Arts Council for Monterey County (Arts4MC) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to enriching the lives of our community through the arts. Our mission is to improve the quality of life for everyone in our region by promoting and supporting the arts. We believe that art is essential to one's well-being, and our organization not only focuses on art but also advocates for its importance.

At Arts4MC, we offer a wide range of programs and services to engage and inspire our community. Our programs include Arts Education, Arts4Home, Professional Artists in the Schools, College Arts Scholarship Grants, and Poetry Out Loud. We also provide resources for artists and cultural workers through our Artist Directory.

In addition, we offer Community Arts Grants to small nonprofit organizations looking for support for public arts and culture projects. These grants provide up to $5,000 per year. By supporting Arts4MC, you contribute to providing arts education to students, healing activities for seniors, grants for emerging artists, and much more.
