As a shared art studio, Artsenta provides a wide range of materials and equipment for various creative activities. Artsenta welcomes anyone aged 17 and above who is interested in being creative and receiving mental health or addiction support. There is no cost associated with accessing Artsenta, and no formal referral process is required. You can simply give them a call or visit their studio. Getting started at Artsenta is easy. Schedule a visit to learn more about their activities and discuss your interests. Creative Sessions are also available to try out different art forms and explore your artistic preferences. Artsenta values a safe and supportive community, adhering to guidelines that promote a creative atmosphere. Whether you prefer to work independently or with support, Artsenta caters to diverse preferences. They will help you develop an Art Plan to guide your creative journey at their studio. If you need assistance during your time at Artsenta, you are welcome to bring a support person. Feedback and concerns are encouraged and addressed by the staff, and artists have a strong voice within the space. Artsenta is run by the Creative Arts Trust, a non-profit organization, and is primarily funded by the Southern District Health Board.
