Aruba Hi-Winds is the premier watersports competition in the Caribbean, celebrated for its rich history and vibrant community spirit. Established in 1986 by two friends, Anthony Blok and Ruben Croes, this annual event aims to put Aruba on the watersports map. Over the years, it has attracted renowned windsurfing legends like Björn Dunkerbeck and Robby Naish, making it a global highlight in the watersports calendar. 

Set against the stunning backdrop of Aruba, the event not only showcases thrilling competitions but also fosters an inclusive atmosphere where participants, families, and spectators can connect. With over 200 competitors joining annually, Aruba Hi-Winds emphasizes community, professional organization, and accessibility, offering a free-to-attend event that welcomes everyone, from beginners to pros.
