## Description

The Austrian Ranch Work Association (ARWA), founded in 2021, is dedicated to promoting ranch work across Austria with a strong emphasis on animal welfare and sustainable practices. The association supports farmers in their livestock management tasks, such as herding cattle, performing ear tag checks, and capturing stray animals, while building a nationwide network of wranglers regardless of riding style or horse breed.

ARWA offers comprehensive training programs including Wrangler Packages at different levels, focusing on skills in Cow Work, Ranch Horse, and Ranch Roping. Open to both riders and "ground staff," the association fosters teamwork in ranch operations, ensuring that all animals are well cared for.

Emphasizing a holistic approach over competitive sports, ARWA prioritizes the respectful treatment of animals, alongside environmental protection. The association collaborates with local partners, including veterinarians and agricultural authorities, to enhance ranch work while promoting harmonious relationships between nature and agriculture in regions like Upper Austria, Lower Austria, Styria, Carinthia, and East Tyrol.
