## Description

PERSINAS ASAD Jawa Barat, also known as ASAD Jabar, is a West Java organization focused on pencak silat, Indonesia’s traditional martial art. Its activities bring together athletes, instructors, officials, and local branches to develop martial arts skills while encouraging discipline, solidarity, and cultural connection. ASAD Jabar supports training and development at different levels, including coaching sessions, joint practices, physical conditioning, and programs for young and women participants. It also organizes and takes part in pasanggiri, competitions, athlete selections, and festivals, helping pesilat build experience and pursue achievements in regional and national events. The organization further provides professional development through workshops and certification-related activities for coaches and referees, including instruction on competition rules. Its news platform, Warta ASAD Jabar, shares reports on these programs, organizational meetings, community events, partnerships, and athletes’ results across West Java. Through its combination of martial arts instruction, competition, education, and community engagement, ASAD Jabar works to strengthen pencak silat practice and foster connections among its members and the wider martial arts community.
