## Description

A Safer Walk is a free mobile app designed exclusively for women, providing a safer way to connect with other women who are heading in the same direction, whether by foot, cab, bus, or train. Our mission is to help women make safer journeys by offering a platform that facilitates connections and offers support. With A Safer Walk, you can download the app and share it with others, ensuring that you're never walking alone. It's simple - just create an account and get verified, and within 24 hours, you'll have access to our walk network. Unlike other GPS tracking or check-in apps, A Safer Walk takes a proactive and preventative approach to safety. By empowering women with mobile technology, we aim to discourage confrontations and reduce assaults. Whether you need a quick walk through a questionable parking lot or a longer walk home at night, our app helps organize spontaneous pairs or groups, making your journey safer and more enjoyable. Join A Safer Walk today and take control of your safety.
