## Description

Asakura River Ikusui Forum is a thriving organization located in Toyohashi City, dedicated to environmental improvement within the Asakura River basin. Established in 1995, the forum aims to foster a community enriched by nature, promoting sustainable practices that benefit both water conservation and biodiversity. Their core philosophy, known as "Ikusui," emphasizes nurturing water resources and understanding the vital role they play in ecosystem balance.

The forum engages in various initiatives, including educational outreach on firefly ecology, advocating for diverse plant and animal habitats, and developing bioswales, which support local wildlife. They also conduct river investigations to assess water quality and share insights through newsletters and social media platforms such as Facebook and Instagram.

By trademarking the concept of "Ikusui," the forum ensures that its values of sustainable management and community education are upheld. Everyone in the community is encouraged to participate in initiatives and contribute to creating a vibrant, sustainable environment. Join them in their mission for a healthier and more ecologically balanced society.
