Asociace genové terapie, z.s. (Asgent) is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the research and treatment of rare diseases through gene therapy. With a mission to connect the worlds of science, medicine, and patients, Asgent aims to create a better future for those affected by rare genetic conditions, ensuring they have easy access to the treatment they need for a healthy and fulfilling life. As the first non-governmental organization in the Czech Republic actively involved in researching rare diseases, Asgent funds research and potential drugs for these conditions, which affect more than 350 million people worldwide.
