## Description

Asigna is a native multisig solution designed for Bitcoin and Stacks, offering an additional layer of security for trusted wallets on both ecosystems. Our approach eliminates risks associated with smart contract strategies in the context of Stacks and optimizes gas fees. With a native approach mirroring Bitcoin's use of Taproot multisig transactions, Asigna provides the most gas-efficient solution. Rigorous testing and comparison have shown that native transactions are more cost-effective than other smart contract methods on Stacks. The sBTC integration allows multisigs to be linked on both Stacks and Bitcoin. This approach offers extensive flexibility, allowing standard wallet operations such as interactions with DEXes, bridges, Dapps on Stacks, NFT marketplaces, Ordinals, and BRC20. Asigna ensures the security of assets by interacting solely with widely-used wallet signatures, such as Leather, Xverse, and Unisat. Even in the event of Asigna protocol discontinuation, both Stacks and Bitcoin wallets can be restored, demonstrating the resilience and strength of our native approach.
