## Description

A Sign in Space is an innovative interdisciplinary project spearheaded by media artist Daniela de Paulis, in collaboration with esteemed organizations such as the SETI Institute, the European Space Agency, and the Green Bank Observatory. This unique initiative aims to transmit a simulated extraterrestrial message using an ESA spacecraft as its source and conducts live performances that engage the global community. 

The project's primary goal is to foster cooperation among the world-wide Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence (SETI) community, professionals from diverse fields, and the general public, inviting participation in the message's reception, decoding, and interpretation. Through various platforms such as Discord, participants can contribute by sharing sketches and thoughts, facilitating a rich dialogue around SETI, space research, and societal impacts. 

A Sign in Space not only bridges gaps across cultures and disciplines but also encourages creative expression and collaborative interpretation of potential forms of extraterrestrial communication, inviting everyone to join in this cosmic conversation.
