## Description

Crescere Insieme is a social cooperative offering early childhood education in Castenedolo, Italy. Founded in April 1984 by parents from the local Christian community, its Catholic preschool was established to support families’ freedom of educational choice and promote Christian values. Today, the organization provides both a nursery and a preschool, with places for up to 52 children aged six to 36 months in the nursery and 90 children in the preschool.

Its educational approach puts each child’s needs and wellbeing at the centre. The program aims to nurture personal and cultural identity, independence, communication, creativity, critical thinking and practical skills. It also encourages respect, dialogue, collaboration and openness to diversity. The school supports children with disabilities or other disadvantages through inclusion projects, and helps children from different cultural backgrounds settle in, involving their families. Activities are designed to ease transitions between stages of education. Crescere Insieme also shares school calendars, organizes events and offers a summer program for local preschool children.
