## Description

Backdrop is an AI sales assistant designed for technology-focused B2B sales teams. It supports account executives and other sellers during live calls by listening to meeting audio directly from the computer, without joining as a bot, and surfacing relevant guidance in the moment. The platform helps reps conduct discovery, ask stronger follow-up questions, handle technical objections, and respond confidently to buyer questions.

Backdrop draws on a company’s sales frameworks, product documentation, battlecards, competitive intelligence, case studies, sales decks, analyst reports, and internal knowledge. It can guide teams using MEDDPICC, SPIN, or other sales methodologies, track framework progress across calls, and turn existing materials into practical, call-ready answers and talk tracks. The service is available for macOS and Windows, with mobile support described as coming soon. Backdrop is positioned to help teams onboard sellers and products, improve call quality, reduce reliance on sales engineers, and coach reps through real customer conversations.
