Hippo is a conversational trading agent built for individual traders as well as exchanges and brokers. Its products, Hippo Terminal and Hippo Dock, let users ask questions about markets, positions, charts and account activity within a trading workflow. Hippo responds with sourced, timestamped information, such as prices, funding, open interest and order book depth. It can also draft an order, estimate fees and liquidation price, and mark the proposed trade on a chart. Traders review, edit or discard the ticket; nothing executes until they confirm, and unconfirmed tickets expire.

Hippo Terminal is a trading interface that connects to an exchange account using an API key without transfer permission. Hippo Dock is an embeddable panel for exchanges and brokers, designed to work with their existing apps, APIs, custody and order books. The company offers a four-week Dock pilot measured against the platform’s baseline. Hippo describes its service as informational, not investment advice: it does not recommend trades, predict prices, or withdraw or transfer funds.
