## Description

The Azienda Sanitaria Locale “Città di Torino” (ASL Città di Torino) is the local public health authority for the city of Turin in Italy’s Piedmont region. It was established on 1 January 2017 by merging the former ASL TO1 and ASL TO2, and its headquarters are at Via San Secondo 29, Turin. It runs the city’s public hospitals and clinics, including San Giovanni Bosco, Martini, Maria Vittoria, and Oftalmico, as well as a growing network of Community Houses (Case di Comunità) such as Borgo Ticino, Pellico, and Botticelli. Recent additions include a new coronary intensive care unit, a Head and Neck Cancer Unit, an integrated Alzheimer’s day centre, and a rheumatology and rare diseases centre. Online services cover appointment booking through the regional CUP, online access to medical reports, the electronic health record, waiting-time information, and a public relations office (URP). The authority also runs health promotion programmes in schools, workplaces, and communities, along with public events such as Tennis & Friends and preventive health screening days.
