## Description

ASNOM, the Association Amicale Santé Navale et d’Outre Mer, is a French association dedicated to the community and heritage of naval and overseas health services. Guided by the motto “Across the seas, always serving people,” it brings together members through regional sections across France, including Bordeaux-Aquitaine, Brest-Bretagne, Marseille-Provence, Paris–Île-de-France and Toulon-Var. The association shares news about military health services, schools, professional events and the activities of its sections. It also organises a congress and Naval Days, publishes newsletters and maintains a broad online collection of historical resources, photographs, archives and themed dossiers. Its content documents the history of naval and colonial medical services, their personnel and specialties, tropical diseases, research institutes and international organisations. ASNOM highlights awards and traditions connected with naval health education and collaborates with the National Maritime Museum in Rochefort. The site also presents solidarity and humanitarian initiatives, including projects focused on prevention, access to care and training.
