## Description

The Asociación Española de Productores de Frutas Tropicales is a nonprofit organization founded in 2012 to represent and strengthen Spain’s tropical fruit sector. Based in Torre del Mar, Málaga, it brings together farmers who produce tropical fruits and works to give their shared interests a stronger voice. The association reports 450 members, 3,350 hectares represented, and more than 15 events organized.

Its services focus on practical support, information, and professional development for members. Subscribers can access a private online area with resources including a field logbook, pest-management information, technical advice, occupational risk-prevention materials, and recordings of presentations from technical conferences. Membership also provides access to the association’s digital magazine, news, and other sector resources.

The organization shares updates on topics affecting growers, including avocado and mango exports, agricultural support measures, water scarcity, crop research, pollination, pest control, and pitaya cultivation. Through its publications, events, and member services, the association helps tropical fruit producers stay informed and address common challenges in their work.
