## Description

The Aspergillus Website is a free, comprehensive information resource about the fungus Aspergillus and the diseases it can cause, collectively known as aspergillosis. Serving clinical and research communities worldwide for 25 years, it provides an encyclopaedia for doctors, scientists, patients and their relatives. Its materials cover common conditions such as allergic bronchopulmonary aspergillosis, Aspergillus bronchitis, chronic pulmonary aspergillosis, aspergilloma and invasive aspergillosis, alongside topics including diagnosis, treatment, antifungal medicines and drug interactions. Visitors can explore patient information leaflets, scientific articles, clinical resources, laboratory protocols, educational presentations, workshops, images and videos, as well as news and conference materials. Some resources, including the image bank, require free registration. The website also directs readers to LIFE-Worldwide for information about other fungal infections. It is governed by the Fungal Infection Trust in partnership with the University of Manchester and has an independent Editorial Board. Educational grants from the UK National Health Service and commercial supporters help support its work.
