## Description

The Australasian Study of Parliament Group (ASPG) is a politically non-partisan organization founded in 1979, dedicated to promoting research, teaching, and discussions about parliamentary institutions across Australasia and the South Pacific. With chapters located in every Australian state and territory, as well as in New Zealand, the ASPG brings together a diverse membership that includes parliamentarians, parliamentary officers, academics, teachers, journalists, and students.

The group facilitates a vibrant exchange of knowledge through its various initiatives, including conferences, annual meetings, and the publication of research papers and journals such as the APR Journal. The ASPG also encourages contributions from members and provides guidelines for researchers and referees. Its commitment to fostering a greater understanding of parliamentary systems makes the ASPG an invaluable resource for those interested in the political landscape of the region. With ongoing events and publications, the ASPG continues to serve as a vital platform for scholarly discussion and collaboration.
