Aspida Zois, meaning “Life Shield,” is a Cyprus-based nonprofit association supporting people with inherited metabolic diseases (IMDs) and their families. Established on July 9, 2013, the association brings together patients, relatives, and others who wish to contribute. It is a member of EURORDIS, the European Organisation for Rare Diseases, and the Cyprus Alliance for Rare Disorders.
