## Description

Aspire Psychotherapy is a mental health practice founded by Dr. Anya Scolaro, Psy.D., and Brie Scolaro, LCSW, and led by its clinical directors. The LGBTQIA+-owned practice provides affirming, evidence-based care for adults, couples, and LGBTQIA+ clients, with in-person services in New York City and the Hudson Valley and online care across New York, New Jersey, and Delaware.

Its services include individual and couples therapy, group therapy, parent management training, and psychological testing and evaluation. The team supports clients dealing with OCD, anxiety, ADHD and executive-function challenges, social anxiety, panic, insomnia, relationship concerns, perfectionism, and performance-related stress. Approaches include cognitive behavioral therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Exposure and Response Prevention for OCD, biofeedback, and sports psychology. Evaluations address ADHD, autism, giftedness, IQ, dyslexia, and other diagnostic questions.

Care begins with a virtual intake with a clinical director, who clarifies the client’s goals and personally matches them with an appropriate therapist or testing provider. Aspire emphasizes individualized treatment, practical strategies, and helping clients build clarity, resilience, and a more fulfilling life.
