The Agency for Scientific Research and Training (ASRT) is a brand dedicated to building capacity in program implementation and research across all sectors. Our goal is to provide access to knowledge through applied research, build capacity through professional training, and support effective program implementation. We offer services in three main pillars: Program Implementation, Capacity Building, and Research.

ASRT embraces a sustainable 'third way' by volunteering, doing charitable work, and providing training scholarships to support our community. We focus on youth development and empowerment, promoting both self-employment and formal engagement. We reinvest a large part of our income into philanthropic work and supporting national development.

Our core values include teamwork, equity, efficiency, and evidence-based decision making. We have a dedicated team led by Mathildah Chithila Munthali, PhD as the Executive Director, and Erik Schouten MD, MS as the ASRT Senior Partner. Together with our partners, we are committed to making a positive impact and creating lasting change.
