## Description

ASSMaF ODV is an Italian voluntary organisation and registered Third Sector Entity dedicated to raising awareness of and supporting care for scleroderma, systemic sclerosis, and other fibrosing and rheumatic diseases. Active since 1995, the organisation provides information for people affected by systemic sclerosis, a condition that can involve both the skin and internal organs. Its website brings together educational resources, including medical explainers, awareness materials, personal accounts, and guidance on topics such as movement, psychological wellbeing, and coping with seasonal changes.

ASSMaF also offers practical support through physiotherapy resources, exercise video tutorials for the mouth and hands, and psychological listening services. It develops projects and shares information about completed initiatives, upcoming events, and relevant news. The organisation encourages community involvement through donations, membership, and Italy’s five-per-thousand tax allocation. Visitors can contact its secretariat by phone or email and subscribe to a newsletter for updates. Through information, support services, projects, and fundraising, ASSMaF works to improve knowledge of these conditions and contribute to efforts addressing their care.
