## Description

CAPRIS is a French nonprofit association founded in October 2009 to help prevent and address health risks associated with water systems inside buildings. Its name refers to the Club of Professional Stakeholders for Secure Indoor Networks, with a focus on risks from Legionella and Pseudomonas. CAPRIS aims to contribute expertise and practical proposals to building owners, legislators, and relevant authorities, drawing on the experience of its members and a broad, collaborative approach to water safety.

The association provides information and resources on the compliance, design, installation, maintenance, and disinfection of building water networks. Its areas of focus also include diagnostics, technical expertise, certification, water not intended for human consumption, and related regulations, standards, and technical guidance. Through membership, professionals can attend workshops, keep up with regulatory and technical developments, share their views in public consultations, and participate in AFNOR surveys. CAPRIS also publishes documentation and news to support informed decision-making.
