## Description

Associazione Davide Ciavattini Onlus is a non-profit organization established in 1993, dedicated to supporting families of children affected by cancer and blood disorders. Founded by Luigi Ciavattini, along with healthcare professionals and parents, the organization aims to provide assistance and improve the quality of life for young patients dealing with leukemia, lymphomas, and other oncohematological diseases.

Primarily operating in the Oncohematology Department of the Bambino Gesù Pediatric Hospital in Rome, the association offers various services including home care, psychological support, and recreational activities such as clown therapy. They also facilitate community engagement through art exhibits and events that showcase the resilience of children in treatment.

Additionally, the Associazione promotes scientific research by funding scholarships and providing essential medical equipment. Their family support facility, "Casa di Davide," offers temporary housing and therapeutic assistance to families traveling for treatment. Through initiatives like 5x1000 donations and solidary bomboniere, the organization seeks constant community support to further their mission of hope and healing for these brave young fighters.
