## Description

AMAR – FVG, or the Associazione per le Malattie Respiratorie, is a volunteer organization founded in 2003 in Trieste, Italy. Initially known as ATMAR, the association evolved in 2019 to extend its support beyond local patients, embracing a wider audience affected by respiratory diseases. AMAR’s mission focuses on enhancing scientific research in respiratory health, as the organization firmly believes that advancements in research are vital for improving treatments and care for those suffering from these conditions.

AMAR actively conducts various activities aimed at raising awareness, providing support, and fostering community involvement. They encourage donations, including the option to allocate a portion of one’s taxes (5x1000) to support their initiatives. The organization is based in the S.C. Pneumologia at Strada di Fiume in Trieste, and it invites individuals to connect through email or phone for inquiries, registrations, or donations. By championing respiratory health, AMAR stands as a beacon of hope for patients and families affected by respiratory illnesses.
