## Description

Associazione Cucciolo is a charitable organization founded in 1995 in Bologna, dedicated to supporting families of premature infants. Positioning itself as a vital resource, the association provides both psychological and material assistance to parents navigating the challenges of preterm births. Operating within the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and Neonatology departments of Policlinico di Sant’Orsola, Associazione Cucciolo fosters innovation by enhancing medical technologies in these critical care settings.

The organization offers various initiatives including the “Adotta una stanza” campaign, aimed at beautifying the NICU through artistic decoration, and has also introduced music therapy by providing MP3 players for hospitalized infants. They actively engage the community through events, fundraising activities such as Christmas lotteries and solidary bomboniere, and encourage volunteer participation. Associazione Cucciolo invites everyone to contribute to a cause that nurtures the growth and development of vulnerable newborns, ensuring that no parent faces the journey of prematurity alone.
