## Description

Associazione Diabetici Treviso ODV is a volunteer-run organization founded in 1976 to represent and protect people living with diabetes and support their families. Its mission is to improve quality of life through practical guidance, community, education, and advocacy. The association promotes understanding of diabetes and a more accurate public image of the condition, while encouraging type 2 diabetes prevention through public information meetings and screening. It also helps patients use new technologies for diabetes management and gives people with diabetes a voice, offering support in caring for their health. Families of children and young people with diabetes can access dedicated support, and the organization runs educational camps for young people. In addition, it supports research into diabetes complications and develops projects to help people build autonomy and confidence. People can participate by becoming members, donating, or allocating their 5×1000 contribution to the association. Its website also shares news, health information, events, and updates on research, including activities connected with the Treviso community and the local young people’s diabetes group.
