## Description

Asteria Corporation was founded in 1998 by President and CEO HIRANO Yoichiro (Pina) and Executive Vice President and CTO KITAHARA Yoshiyuki, during a time when internet use among enterprises was picking up. They envisioned a future where businesses would utilize the internet and related technologies to connect systems inside and outside the company. The name "Asteria" is a combination of "information" and "cafeteria," symbolizing the concept of picking up the right information from the vast amounts of information that exist in the world. The corporate color of Asteria is green, representing their commitment to contributing to building an earth-friendly society. They aim to achieve this by developing software that enables the production of only the most appropriate quantity of products, reducing resource and energy consumption. As we move into the 21st century, Asteria believes in the age of "autonomy, dispersion, and harmony," where people and organizations connect across boundaries through the worldwide network of information. They have chosen the color green to represent growth, development, autonomy, decentralization, and collaboration. With a focus on sustainability, Asteria offers products and services to realize the concept of an "Information Cafeteria" that can be used worldwide.
