## Description

CHASM, the Community of Human Analogue Space Missions, connects analogue space mission organisers, participants, researchers and the wider public. The organisation promotes collaboration and communication among missions worldwide, helping share knowledge about how space missions can be simulated on Earth, underwater or in zero-gravity flights. These missions vary in duration, equipment, protocols and crew, and may be run by space agencies, companies or civilian groups.

CHASM provides educational resources and opportunities for the analogue mission community. Its wiki-style database offers information about missions, including habitats, duration, protocols and crew selection. CHASMCARD gathers research conducted during analogue missions, supporting visibility and transparency. Through PARACHASM, a research consortium focused on parastronauts, CHASM coordinates work to improve analogue missions for astronauts with disabilities.

The organisation also hosts biennial conferences, workshops and discussion sessions, bringing researchers and the public together. Its events have taken place at research stations and space organisations across Europe, with further events scheduled.
