This exhibition promises to provide a captivating journey through the history of science in Belgium. In addition to exhibitions, CNHS offers a wide range of activities and services. For example, they have recently launched a new animation called Les oubliées de l'histoire des sciences, where their mission is to uncover and celebrate the contributions of female scientists who have often been overlooked. Since September 2021, CNHS has been offering free educational animations for secondary schools, ludoteques, and associations. They also conduct various activities, including animations on the history of medicine and anatomy at the Museum of Medicine. Furthermore, CNHS collaborates with The Fonderie and The Maison d'Érasme to develop educational animations on topics such as the history of techniques and the use of medicinal plants in the Middle Ages and Renaissance. To support researchers and the general public, CNHS has launched the SIC project, a database of 6500 indexed images from scientific books of the 16th century housed in the Réserve Précieuse of the Bibliothèque royale de Belgique. With its diverse range of offerings, CNHS is committed to promoting knowledge and appreciation of the history of science for all audiences.
