## Description

Astrofotografie aus Norddeutschland is the personal astronomy brand of Dennis Marso, a hobby astronomer and astrophotographer based in Dassendorf near Hamburg. The website shares his independently captured images, practical experience and educational content for people interested in observing and photographing the night sky. Its resources include a curated image gallery, astronomy and astrophotography videos, equipment examples from Marso’s own experience, and guidance for those choosing their first setup. The site also features tutorials on capturing and processing celestial images, including work with free software, and a children’s astronomy book to which Marso contributed images and other content.

Marso has offered personal equipment advice, image-processing coaching and practical astronomy training, delivered at a customer’s home or remotely by video call. However, these individual services are currently suspended because of his commitments to the Night Sky Association Neuhaus e.V. (NAN), where he serves on the board. The website also introduces the association and shares astronomy content through social media and YouTube.
