## Description

Astronomia Valli del Noce (AVdN) is an astronomy information and outreach portal focused on activities in Val di Non and Val di Sole in Trentino, Italy, while also serving astronomy enthusiasts and newcomers beyond the region. Established online in 2009 during the International Year of Astronomy, the project grew from earlier collaborations and local activities. Its aim is to bring people together, share information about astronomy, and help beginners discover the subject.

The site covers observing the night sky, astrophotography, meteors, variable-star photometry, radio astronomy, light pollution, and astronomical events. Visitors can explore articles, scientific publications, books, photo galleries, monthly sky guides, observing resources, weather and seeing forecasts, and satellite information. AVdN also shares news about its projects and offers practical materials, including astronomy guides and tools such as Lumen for exploring stellar light curves, PixInsight scripts, and online resources like Stellarium Web and Aladin. The organization promotes public engagement through observing evenings, events, and themed activities, including meteor-focused meetings, and provides WhatsApp groups to help its community stay connected.
