## Description

Angelsportverein Küssaberg und Umgebung e.V. is a fishing and nature-focused club founded on June 23, 1971, by 20 founding members. Today, it has 180 members, including around 110 active members and 30 young people. The association manages access to several local fishing waters: Rhine sections Staulos 6–7 and Fliesslos 8–10, shared with neighboring clubs, and its own pond in Küßnach. These waters offer opportunities for angling and enjoying the surrounding natural environment.

The club is committed to protecting aquatic habitats and biodiversity, particularly by supporting diverse, healthy, and naturally sustained fish populations. It also emphasizes environmental care and the proper handling of fish and other living things in and around the water. New members are introduced to fishing, with the club pond providing a suitable setting for beginners. Its youth group is supported by two youth leaders and takes part in organized events. Seasonal gatherings, including summer Sunday get-togethers and trout fishing at the pond, bring members, families, and friends together.
