## Description

Asymptote Journal is a premier brand that focuses on world literature in translation. Their mission is to unlock the literary treasures of the world, bringing readers never-before-published poetry, fiction, nonfiction, drama, and interviews from writers and translators all over the globe. With work featured from 128 countries and 115 languages, Asymptote is dedicated to showcasing the creative act of translating texts. They believe that while a translated text may never fully replicate the effect of the original, it can still be its own form of artistic expression. In addition to their magazine, Asymptote offers a daily-updated blog, a fortnightly newsletter, a monthly book club, and educational guides. They have also organized numerous events worldwide. Asymptote's commitment to fostering encounters between different languages and cultures makes them a unique and invaluable platform for literature in translation.
