## Description

The Automobile & Touring Club of Nigeria (ATCN), established in 2009, serves as Nigeria's premier motorsport governing body and is the official representative of the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA) among other international bodies. Committed to promoting motorsport, tourism, and road safety, ATCN organizes a variety of events, including the prestigious West African Motor Rally Championship, National Karting Championship, and the Festival of Motorsports. The club has a strong focus on grassroots development, enabling local enthusiasts to engage in motorsport from the ground up.

Under the leadership of founder Ishaku Bamaiyi, ATCN emphasizes safety, training, and community involvement, exemplified by initiatives like the FIA Action for Road Safety campaign. Additionally, ATCN plays a vital role in talent development with programs such as FIA Girls on Track and the FIA Rally Star initiative. With a mission to foster a vibrant motorsport culture in Nigeria, ATCN continuously works to create opportunities for participation in both national and international competitions.
