## Description

AIDS Trust Fund (ATF) is an established organization in Tanzania under the TACAIDS Act, dedicated to strengthening domestic resources for HIV and AIDS response. Founded to enhance government contributions alongside private sector involvement, ATF focuses on providing support specifically for People Living with HIV (PLHIV) and bolstering HIV prevention, care, and treatment services. The organization operates with a clear mission to engage stakeholders across various levels to mobilize financial, social, and technological resources that align with national priorities for comprehensive HIV/AIDS interventions.

Managed by an Executive Director and guided by a Board of Trustees appointed by the Prime Minister, ATF adheres to principles of transparency, equity, accountability, and integrity. Its commitment to participatory collaboration ensures continuous stakeholder engagement. By elevating resources towards evidence-based funding distribution, ATF aims to address the pressing needs in the Tanzanian HIV response landscape, ultimately striving for sustainable public health improvements and support systems for affected communities.
