## Description

The Association of Taiwan Forest Restoration (ATFR) is dedicated to restoring vegetation in Taiwan’s low-elevation mountain areas and promoting public education about forests and ecology. Guided by the vision of “ten years to grow trees, a hundred years to nurture people,” the association works to support both the recovery of local landscapes and the sharing of reliable ecological knowledge. Its planned new website is intended to help more people access important information about ecology online, while restoration work continues during development.

ATFR also shares monthly newsletters featuring records of its work and reports on restoration outcomes from locations across Taiwan. The association maintains the relaunched Plant Identification Website created by teacher Zhuang Xi, providing a resource for people interested in identifying plants. In addition, its 2026 fundraising project invites public support for its forest restoration efforts. Through restoration, education, information resources, and fundraising, ATFR encourages people to take part in protecting Taiwan’s mountain environments and helping them regain their natural beauty.
